Qing Ming & Zhong Yuan
Ancestor worship ceremonies are not only for us to remember our ancestors, they also serve to teach the next generation about the importance of filial piety, and to educate them about the need to remember the debt of gratitude that we owe our ancestors.
From ancient times to the present, the Chinese have never stopped respecting and remembering their ancestors. "Memorial to our ancestors" is to remind us where the root of our blood came from, to remember with gratitude, and to talk about filial piety.
Prayer Services (within a year of the newly departed):
From the moment when an ancestor passes away, multiple traditional chinese funeral prayers and rituals will need to take place.
